People who say the Bible is

A fairytale are probably

The kind of folks who tend to miss

The meaning of what they can see,

For fairytales tell us about

The world come up against the will

Which brings a living message out

That borders on believable:

That giants aren’t all that tall

That they cannot be overcome

By somebody though he is small

Who makes another to succumb;

That maidens being in distress

Are to be rescued by the brave;

The weak may conquer nonetheless

For they’re undaunted by the grave.

And if they knew a little more

About the nature of mankind

They’d know what fairytales are for

Where matter’s overcome by mind.

And when they prate about the fact

That nothing may be proven there,

By fact their sayings aren’t backed

Because in fact the world can bear

Witness to contradict their claim

That Bible stories aren’t true

Cause digs have verified the same

And put it out in open view,

But mostly it’s about the Jews;

The miracle is they exist,

Still being central to the News,

Denied by every atheist.
