When I Was Young And Pretty I
When I was young and pretty I
Recall the men who used to gawk.
I wouldn’t even have to try
And put a wiggle in my walk.
Of those that turned about to see
There wasn’t then a single one
That soon as he had eyes for me
I didn’t take off at a run.
But there was one among them who
For having turned that fellow’s head
What I regret I didn’t do
Was let him catch me when I fled.
