They said to trust but verify

And yet the Ayatollah said

That he would never tell a lie

As Obama nodded instead.

Obama’s hoping as he does

About the Ayatollah’s nose

As long as it gets not to fuss

Since it is not Pinocchio’s; 

The Ayatollah has deceived

The President to no effect;

Barack Obama has believed

Iranians are circumspect;

And so the Democrats as well

Give up all incredulity,

For they do not believe in Hell

But just in party loyalty;

And so all of the cronies sold

America and Israel out

To get an equal share of gold

A dirty deal is all about;

So that’s why the Republicans

Allowed Obama to prevail

Because Iran is in their plans

As lots of gold it will avail. 

At whose expense? At everyones

For gold to satisfy the greed,

Till when the blood in rivers runs

No one ’ll bother to pay heed;

Then in the fallout of the Cloud

The dealers’ll begin to tsk

Recalling how the Deal allowed

Obama to take such a risk.
