To Claim It Was On Purpose That

To claim it was on purpose that 

Columbus cholera had spread

Shows where most academe is at

In turning truth upon its head;

Nobody spreads a dread disease,

(To put all men into harm’s way)

Yet academe tells tales like these 

In the canards it spreads today.

I never thought I’d live to see

America become that place

Where those in the Academy

Turn every issue upon race,

To perpetrate a point of view

In order to destroy each fact,

For the agendas they pursue

By every text that they redact.

They’re raising any old canard,

They come across by accident,

Whilst facts are easy to discard

For myths that are malevolent.

Once gentiles wanted to accuse

The Jews of poisoning the wells;

Now, likewise, academics choose

To put blame upon someone else.

But nobody will call them out,

So as to save them any blame,

Because, what this is all about,

Is bandying the “racist” name;

As those, who would perpetuate

The damage that is being done,

Accuse them of some racial hate,

Whilst they’d egg everybody on.
