Upon The See-Saw That Is Life

Two, masculine and feminine
Are separate and poles away,
(If it weren’t apart they’d been
There’d not be any interplay)

Of back and forth and to and fro
Between a husband & a wife,
Where up and down together go
Upon the see-saw that is life;

Of him and her, and he and she
That’s positive and negative,
Whence there’s that electricity
Of give’n take & take’n give;

Without two vital complements,
It wouldn’t be but for the fact
Which life—(by no coincidence)
Wants opposites so to attract.
