No Vacation From Vocation

One thing about receiving what

You didn’t have to labor for;

No matter if it is a lot,

It is a lot, lot less than more.

It never feels enough to be

Sufficient though it is income;

There is an insecurity

About wherever it comes from.

To come in bushels or in pecks

It doesn’t really matter which

Because it’s less than one expects

As there can always be a switch;

For I would rather know that I

Am able to do something now

To bring in what I’m living by

As long as I can work somehow.
