How Love Finds A Way
No one would travel anywhere
But for the very fact that they
Can go from here to over there,
As in between there is a way;
For, no one anywhere has gone,
Except for how it is they find
Some way by which to travel on,
To go ahead to leave behind;
To leave behind and face ahead
For whatsoever there may lie,
By going, knowing, they are led
Along the way they travel by;
How all of Earth is but a sphere
And everywhere upon its face
Allows our going here and there
Inhabiting that one embrace;
That walls do not exist between,
Where barriers will not exist,
As every spot on earth has been
By sky’s environ duly kissed;
This world is round in order to
Let them upon its surface go,
With wide horizons yet in view
In order to range to and fro;
That nowhere is beyond the ken
Of understanding it is round;
That truth might so inspire men
To seek it so it may be found;
That travel couldn’t be but for
Us seeing anywhere we are,
This world is open to explore—
It’s near to us and never far.
