Listening To The Wind

A world in constant motion swept
By wind was never still,
For all those secrets which it kept
Belied a boundless will.

You couldn’t find it in the thing
No more than in the limb
Uplifted as the wind would bring
The branch closer to Him.

And so it seems it’s in the breeze
Lifting the leaves unseen,
The wind is seen but for the trees
That wavered in between

The Earth and Sky around about
Me, whispering of what
I sought for searching to find out
That there is nothing but.
