If One Does Not Believe In God
If one does not believe in God
In absence of the One Above,
One’s apt to wink & give a nod
Believing in all kinds of stuff.
Religion has this way of creep-
Ing deep into the human soul,
Where burrowing so very deep
Down on its belly it will crawl;
Instead of one God many come,
Devils and demons then arrive,
The damned of Pandemonium
Hum, as it was, in one beehive.
So when folks in God disbelieve,
Whatever they give credence to,
Of deeds they’re able to conceive,
Believe it or not, they come to do.
