If God, In Overlooking Man
If God, in overlooking Man,
Decided he just oughtn’t be,
For altering His Godly plan
There’d be no Possibility.
Albeit, causes should effect
Results so as to come about;
The unexpected, we’d expect,
Existence had to be without.
For out of nowhere Man creates
What didn’t exist ere he came,
And due to whatever Man states
He alters—giving it its name.
The world’d be an empty place
If God hadn’t His end in sight,
When He decided He’d replace
It, saying so—Let there be light.
