Obama begged the Japanese

To say he was so sorry for

The "worst of the atrocities"

Recorded in the 2nd War.

And yet the Japanese declined

His offer, knowing of the fact,

The Japanese were not so kind

As Pearl Harbor they attacked;

Nor for 12 million people slain

(Decidedly without regrets)

Whilst Hiroshito had his reign

Of terror—using bayonets;

And Nagasaki would not come,

Nor Hiroshima would be hit,

Blown up by the Atomic Bomb

If Japan hadn't started it.
