Some Say Our President Is This

Some Say Our President Is This

Some say our President is this,
And others say that he is that,
But whatever they’d say he is,
What matters is: where’s he at?

As being neither here nor there
Wherever he should be about,
This President is nowhere near,
What I for one can figure out.

Some say he’s a Mohammedan
And others ask how can it be?
He went to church led by a man
With his hate-filled theology;

He listened to the Reverend say
What he said, sitting in a pew,
Neither to answer ‘yea’ or ‘nay’
To all which he’d attended to;

About what Jeremiah Wright
Decidedly said loud and clear
Of those whose skin-color is white
Which Barack didn’t seem to hear.

To whose Church did Barack belong
If not the Reverend Wright who said
So much of that which was so wrong
As he heard and would nod his head?

And didn’t he say God would damn
America?—should that escape
Your notice, it was caught on cam—
So you may see it now on tape.

Whatever faith he might profess
The God to which Obama bows
Has put him at the right address
As occupant of our White House.
