There was a parable about
An emperor upon parade
As everybody had come out
To see a majesty displayed.
He hadn’t on him any clothes
That everybody came to see
Which actually would expose
The king was is his nudity.
So nothing either more or less
Was what the emperor had on;
Now, marveling upon his dress
Where is it all’f you have gone?
Because that parable applies
To what is happening today
As nobody believes his eyes
But only looks another way.
America, you’ve gone too far
Beyond a possible comeback
To what you used to be before
So what I says—Alas, alack!
One nation under God she was
But neither of ’em now exist
Since everything she ever does
She acts like she’s an atheist—
(Believing in most anything—
Albeit what her eyes behold)
Before her on parade her king
Clad—in so far as she is told—
Appears with all this majesty—
In royal robes he has to wear
Leaving her nothing left to see
But that he’s absolutely bare.
