The Boastful Traveler

This traveler who sailed abroad

Bragged over an athletic feat—

Supposedly folks would applaud,

Performing in a famous meet.

“Just go to Rhodes! Ask over there,”

He said, as somebody replied:

“Forget about that—Rhodes is here!

Just jump so that it’s verified!”
