Transgender, If you Do Not Know

Transgender, If You Do Not Know

Transgender, if you do not know
It, is a sex that’s neither/nor,
In other words—if you’re a Joe—
You say that you are Eleanor,

Or else were, you say, Jennifer,
You aren’t Jennifer but John,
Whilst he is she, and him is her
But nobody who’s who anon.

You might say that’s a mishagos
But people are of such a mind
They make of it which never was
A marvelous and special find;

You reason to believe that these
Ought’a be taken at their word,
Though diagnosed it’s a disease,
And not to see that’s so absurd.

Beyond that, then they pander to
It as a disenfranchised class,
When doctors then procedures do
On genitals each gender has

To take them off and put instead
An organ in another’s place,
And turn the world upon its head
In order to reshape its face.

But none of this nonsense will do
Because a man once he’s a man
Can’t be exchanged or made anew,
As that is counter to God’s plan,

’Cause if God wanted him to be
A woman He would’ve done so,
Since sex is plain enough to see:
You’ve got it or you ain’t got no.
