A psychologist, wanting to demonstrate the difference between a pessimist and an optimist, took twin brothers, locking one up in a room full of toys and the other in a room full of horse manure. After awhile he opened the door on the first twin to find him in tears, as he worried that one of the toys he had to play with might get broken. He opened the door on the other twin to find him happily digging in the manure. Asked why he was so happy the second twin said, “Because with all this horseshit there must be a pony in it someplace!”
