If someone wants to talk about
A Second Coming of the Lord
I would recall how it turned out
By a Conversion of the Sword.
I wonder why they haven’t learnt
Their lesson from past history;
How at a stake the Jew was burnt
Perforce through Christianity.
Though after all, the gentiles had
The Jews’ best interest at heart
(To separate “the good from bad”
But just to tell those two apart)
To torture them till they’d confess
That they were Jews in secret so,
The gentiles could do nothing less
Than make a Jew through fire go.
A gentile just could not conceive
The virgin shouldn’t bear a boy,
And that a Jew would not believe
That Jesus was the real McCoy.
And since it was the Jews denied
That Jesus was God’s only son
They took the Jews they crucified
To justify what they had done.
The Jews however wondered how
A native son, one of their clan
The gentile came to bend and bow
To, making God out of a man.
Yet gentiles are intent for Jews
To bow in worship as they do
To one that a Jew would refuse
To do (because he was a Jew)
Besides the fact, that had he been
The true Messiah as they claim
This current mess the world is in
Wouldn’t be so, being he came.
While gentiles offer their excuse:
The Second Coming has to be,
For their Conversion of the Jews
Which they await so fervently.
