Why the Outrage Over A White Actor Playing A Black Man?

Good question, Roger! Who has an answer for this obvious and intelligent question? Do you have to be English to play an Englishman? French to play a Frenchman? Chinese to play a Chinese? Jewish to play a Jew? No! But you have to be black to play a black! But play is play. Pretend is pretend. For there is an underlying pretense here. The pretense is "discrimination". That's it! Martin Luther King said, "the content of ones character - not the color of ones skin. But political-correctness rejects this because it promotes the politics of resentment. It's professional victimhood. It's a Liberal thing. It's the eternal gripe of getting the short end of the stick. Pure resentment.
